Freight Acceptance

The following details are required to assist in determining whether the provisions of the Dangerous Goods Regulations are applicable to the dispatch of your consignment.

REMOVE ANY BATTERIES WITHIN

  • Laptop Computers
  • Mobile Phones
  • Toys, torches, clocks

REMOVE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS

  • Perfumes, Nail Polish, Nail Polish Remover
  • Alcohol Based Products: eg. cough medicine
  • Matches, souvenir lighters
  • Aerosol cans, pressurized sprays, e.g. deodorants, hairsprays
  • Any products considered flammable

Are any of the following items included in the consignment being presented?

Fireworks, sporting ammunition, firearms or explosives
Cylinders of compressed air, oxygen, any type of aerosol can (eg deodorant, shaving creams, hair spray, paint, etc
Camping stoves, cigarette/pipe lighters or refills
Nail Polish, colognes, perfumes, paint, fuel or thinners
Matches & cigarette lighters
Dry Ice, specimens or samples
Detergents, bleaches, drain or oven cleaners
Fibreglass repair kits, adhesives, tyre puncture repair kits
Medicines containing Alcohol
Diving equipment, camping equipment - Gas cyclinders
Machinery with internal combustion engines such as chainsaws, lawnmowers or garden trimmers

Please note: Under Part 23 of the Australian Civil Aviation Act (1988) and under the Laws which govern the transport of baggage and cargo worldwide, heavy penalties including imprisonment apply to shippers who do not declare dangerous goods in any item consigned to an airline.
